Press Release

Important Legislation on NSPS is coming up next week. We need Grassroots efforts now! Call your Congressman now! You need to target the ones below. Do your part call and pass this on to everyone you can!

Your Rights Are Under Attack….

Now is the time to stop the National Security Personnel System (NSPS) from taking away your hard-earned rights. Your right to collectively bargain on issues such as overtime, flextime, and transfer away from any site must be secured through your action. These rights have been threatened every step of the way by the Program Executive Officers (PEO) of the NSPS. Fortunately, a court ruling in February struck down the proposed NSPS rule change on these rights. However, the PEO still has the authority to determine your collective bargaining rights and they can only be stopped by you.

… We Need Your Help to Fight Back!

Next week, Representatives Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and Jay Inslee (D-WA) will offer an amendment to end funding of NSPS’ authority to exclude your collective bargaining rights. We need your help to ensure that this amendment passes so our collective bargaining remains secure in the future. Please contact Representatives in your State and remind them of how NSPS denies your hard-earned rights to collectively bargain and how the new system threatens national security. If you have any questions about the amendment— contact Legislative Liaison Alan D. Dodkowitz in the National Legislative Office.
